Thank you for choosing Roll With It for your charitable giving!

RWI is a non-profit 501c3 organization.  Cash donations are always welcomed and appreciated.  If you are interested in giving to RWI, volunteering at an event,  or would like to be added to our mailing list for news and upcoming events, contact Heidi Schwichtenberg at (320) 743-5399 or e-mail at heidi@rollwithitmn.org.

There are a number of ways to get involved...

1. Volunteer -  RWI is a volunteer-driven organization.  Join us or recruit others. If you know any youth, high school or college students, retirees or others looking for a unique and rewarding experience, tell them about RWI. There are volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups, whether it's a few hours per week, once a month or once a year.  Contact us to join our volunteer list.

2. Make A Donation...  RWI compiles an annual "wish list" of specific items needed for our wheelchair athletic programs, including recreation equipment, uniforms and travel. Contributions of new and slightly used items are welcome.

3. Donate A Wheelchair.  Recycle that old chair by giving to RWI to allow for individuals in need a chance to play sports and for wheelchair athletic presentations and demonstrations.

4. Choose Roll With It At Work.   If you work for the federal or state government, or your workplace participates in a United Way campaign, designate part of your contribution to RWI or even become a sponsor.

5. eBay Mission Fish - RWI's eBay store is a registered non-profit reseller.  You can contribute by donating items for sale on RWI's eBay store or by purchasing items online. Visit our store by clicking here.

6. SHOP4ZERO - offers one of the Internet's most popular fundraising programs for non-profit organizations.  It provides Cash Back Shopping at more than 700 of the Internet's most popular retailers and service providers.  By clicking on RWI's SHOP4ZERO icon and creating an account, every dollar you spend will generate money for RWI.

7. Invest In The Future.   Establish a permanent legacy for wheelchair athletics in Minnesota through the RWI program.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS SUPPORT ROLL WITH IT

RollWithIt 045.jpg (19414 bytes)

In the Spring of 2004, Roll With It Director, Heidi Schwichtenberg, had a chance to meet Vikings Head Coach, Mike Tice, for the first time while she was officiating his son's basketball game.  She decided to take the opportunity to see if Tice would be interested in attending Roll With It's Wheelchair Basketball Exhibition at St. John's University as a special guest.   Unfortunately, he said he had an NFL coaching conference and could not attend.

About a month later, Heidi received an unexpected call from Brad Madson, Vikings Community Relations Director.   Tice had asked Brad to call and inform Heidi that the Minnesota Vikings would like to donate $5,000 to Roll With It and present the check at a wheelchair basketball game in which Tice would participate.

On July 21, 2004, the Vikings presented the check and Tice jumped into a chair and played wheelchair hoops with the youth wheelchair athletes in attendance.  It was a great and memorable event.

The Minnesota Vikings have also been gracious enough to give a number of VIP passes at training camp to Roll With It.   For the past two years, several Minnesota wheelchair athletes have made the trip down to Mankato and watched the Vikings players practice.  Tice always took the time to come over and greet the wheelchair athletes.  He brought several players with him to sign autographs and take pictures.  The kids loved it!!!

Special thanks goes out to the Minnesota Vikings and Mike Tice.  Your time and generosity left a lasting impression on so many families in the Roll With It community.  The Vikings donation was a key factor in establishing the St. Cloud Cyclones, a wheelchair sports program developed in the fall of 2004.

Roll With It would like to thank Blake Schaper and Marco Business Products for helping make the Viking Training Camp event a success.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated!
